Who Are We?The name, Bahá'í, means "follower of Baha'u'llah". Bahá'ís are part of a world-wide community of faith, devoted to the principles of the Oneness of God, the oneness of Mankind, and the essential unity of all Religions. There are approximately 5 million Bahá'ís in over 205 sovereign countries and territories across the globe. Bahá'ís in our local community come from the Harlingen area, as well as nearby localities: La Feria, Los Fresnos, Port Isabel, San Benito, and Brownsville. Our meetings and celebrations are open to the public. We warmly invite you to visit us in Harlingen, or a representative from the Bahá'í Community will visit you at your request.
